シンセサイザー、ルーパー、ビートマシンなどを使った電子音楽にのせたスポークンワードや歌のパフォーマンスを行うZen 101が、2021年12月から4か月にわたりシングル連続リリースを行う、第二作目。本作『Truth to turn away』は、多くの人の心の中に存在する「忘れられない誰か」のことを歌い、言葉にすると卑小で素直な感情に向き合った末に生まれた。ジャズピアニストの武田麻里絵の情感豊かなピアノと、抑制されつつもエモーショナルなボーカルが冬の空気感が溢れるオーガニックなサウンドを生み出している。
また、本作でもRec/ミックスに石本大介が参加。

Zen 101, Tokyo-based electronic music artist, who performs with synthesizers, a looping station and a beat machine, is releasing a series of singles monthly for four months starting December 2021. In this second single "Truth to turn away", Zen 101 is singing about her lost love. Having a Jazz pianist Marie Takeda on piano, Zen's reserved yet emotional vocal line creates an organic track perfect for winter.
